Lily turns 4 months old!

It really is amazing that 4 months ago today we had just been given the news that Lily was going to be born that night!  I remember how scared I was waiting alone in the operating room (I most definitely NOT having tea and crackers like some people we know!), but most of all I remember that incredible feeling when the doctor announced "Es una niña!"  It still makes me teary just thinking about it (I know, how sappy!).   Happy 4 month birthday, Lily!  I love you more than anything! 

Lily goes to college

I think I'm still a little young to start college but if you say I'm ready I guess I'll give it a go! 

You didn't tell me Cousin Maddy will be there!  College sounds better and better!

Termas Papallacta

After Black Sheep Inn and Quilatoa, we spent one nice peaceful night at home in Quito (and watched Brave which just came out on the oh-so-legal $2 DVDs downstairs) ... then Lauren and I HAD to take off two days from work ... so regrettably ... and accompany Ryan and Ashley to the hot springs resort in the mountains ... and we were forced to visit the sauna for massages and such ... just so difficult on a Monday and Tuesday that you were supposed to be working ... but we do it for family

... and still, Lily loves the hot springs ... put on that water diaper (and a rash guard ... thanks ...  Auntie Bri for that) ... and vuala ... oh wait, sun hat too ... then cute baby, hot water ... play time!!!
