Day 228

Lily Looks Adorable ... No Surprise

This Lily, all we need is some good natural light and our camera ... and anything she does looks adorable. We sat her down after our three hour taxi ride home (thank you new airport for blocking the entire highway from moving at all ... forcing us to drive all the way around on another highway to approach Quito from the north) ... anyways, we sat Lily down after a very long taxi ride and she was thrilled to be home ... immediately smiling and grabbing every toy in sight ... so I grabbed the camera. I will let the SUUPER cute photos speak for themselves ...

Day 227-228 (Papallacta)

Lily Heads to Termas Papallacta

After our two week vacation was spent in the hospital and enjoying our own bouts of bronchitus, our first week back at school was pretty rough. We decided to pamper ourselves and take a real vacation. We had our taxi driver take us to Termas Papallacta to relax in some natural hot springs ...  oh and maybe get a few massages while we're there too ... Needless to say, Lily loved the water as usual

Here we are after arriving at our Suite ... this was the 2nd day, we spent the first day and a half relaxing and forgot to take any pictures =)

Dad had to play with the underwater camera a bit ...

... is that what my eyes really look like?! Scary. 

... and then waking up for day two, Lily was all smiles when she saw the camera come out!

... and when she gets really excited, she makes this face and says "MMMMMMMM!!!!"

... "oh dad, you are so crazy"

Mother and daughter looking hot in their swimsuits ... and yes, that swimsuit Lily is wearing does look like it is a bit dated ... oh that could be because she is wearing one of Lauren's childhood swimsuits (thanks to Leslie!)

Lily got to play with her uncle Jeff ...

... and make some funny faces while she's at it ...

... this is one of my favorite shots. She looks so grown up ... with that unforced, relaxed smile and her slight slouch ... she is growing up so fast! 

... no we watch uncle Jeff make some fun bubbles ...

... then dad had to play with the underwater camera some more ... here is Lily trying to grab the camera from above ...

... and this shot just came out amazing. I was using the camera underwater at an angle so the light would reflect off the surface and mirror what was underneath ... here is Lily's foot and her toy ... what a cool shot!!

Day 219-220

Lily Shows Off Her Smile

Lily has been nothing but smiles lately ... though that will start to change as we began Ferberizing her today ... which actually went very well for part 1 of 1,000 ... we got her to sleep on her own ... now comes the hard part of her waking up in the night

... but enough of that, let's see the cuteness!

... and some nice hip thrusts to work out those quads

... and this was just an amazing moment. Lily was home with dad while mom was out at lunch and she just had this glowing smile, and the light was right ... so I grabbed the camera (which is always ready in the living room) and this was the first photo

... and this isn't' the most glamorous, but this photo just reminds me of how she looks so much from minute to minute, sitting on her own, playing with the nearest toy ...

... and back to contagious smiles!!
