Lily Gets Her First Passport
This one was much easier to get ... and Lily's picture came out great ... now she is a legal Ecuadorian (cedula) and is able to leave the country (passport) ... now we just need to get her official birth certificate tomorrow ... then thursday morning at 9am we head to the embassy to apply for her consular acknowledgement of birth abroad and her US passport ... then at a later date we will have to apply for her social security number (takes 8-12 months) ... THEN next week, going to the Irish embassy to start the process getting her irish passport ... oh boy oh boy!
This is her new passport case, we got it out front for $2 ... need to look good!
It's official
Look at how photogenic she was this time! (unlike her screaming/yawning cedula)
... and they took her thumbprint ... everyone in the room was gathered around watching and saying "awwww que lindo (how cute)"
